I haven't had one run yet where I haven't found something new. New pills, new items, new curses, new trinkets, new room types, and the list goes on. There's tons of new everything in rebirth. Old bosses have been retuned and reworked so that their attacks and patterns are different, while some of the new enemies and bosses have me stumped still with how their patterns work, so it is definitely a new set of challenges. I played the original for 230 hours, and the first 5 I've spent with rebirth have felt completely new with every passing run. Even veteran Isaac players have a ton new to experience. For new players, the rogue-like experience will definitely have them coming back for more as long as the difficulty doesn't get to them. Since around half of the starting items you can find are from the original, and half are new, there's plenty for returning players to find to test with, and plenty to find that you already know how to use.

The game itself with its new art style and soundtrack feels fresh but familiar. The original Binding of Isaac made a mark on the indie world for sure, and Rebirth comes out strong making just as strong if not a stronger The original Binding of Isaac made a mark on the indie world for sure, and Rebirth comes out strong making just as strong if not a stronger impact on it again.
